Happy 3 Months ’til Christmas!!! (Check Out My Christmas Movie Pick To Mark This Day & Share Yours!)
Happy 3 Months ’til Christmas!!!
Yes, you read that right. The countdown has officially begun, and we are just three months away from the most magical day of the year! Christmas, the holiday that sparks joy and spreads love worldwide, is just around the corner and we couldn’t possibly be more excited. To mark this special day, we’ve decided to do something fun and festive â a Christmas movie pick!
There’s nothing quite like the heartwarming feeling of watching a Christmas movie. Whether it’s the image of a snowy landscape, the sound of jingle bells, or the sight of a beautifully decorated Christmas tree, these holiday films have a special way of bringing the Christmas spirit to life. So, without further ado, let’s dive into my personal Christmas movie pick to celebrate this exciting milestone!
“Elf” (2003)
My Christmas movie pick to mark the ‘three months until Christmas’ day is the classic comedy “Elf,” directed by Jon Favreau and starring Will Ferrell. If you haven’t watched it yet, you’re in for a treat! “Elf” tells the story of Buddy, a human raised by elves at the North Pole. When Buddy discovers his true identity, he journeys to New York City to meet his biological father, spreading Christmas cheer along the way.
From the iconic scene of Buddy decorating the department store overnight, to his sugar-filled spaghetti breakfast, to the heartwarming moments of love and family connection, “Elf” is an absolute gem. It’s funny, heartfelt, and full of Christmas spirit, making it the perfect film to kick off the holiday season countdown.
This movie is not just about the laughs, it also delivers a very important message – the best way to spread Christmas cheer is by singing loud for all to hear. And that’s the magic of Christmas, isn’t it? Spreading joy, love, and cheer, even in the simplest of ways.
So, grab your popcorn, a cozy blanket, and maybe a few early Christmas cookies, and join us in celebrating this fun milestone by watching “Elf”.
Now that I’ve shared my Christmas movie pick, I’d love to hear from all of you! What’s your favorite Christmas movie? Which film gets you in the Christmas spirit the moment you hit play? Whether it’s a timeless classic like “It’s a Wonderful Life” or a newer favorite like “The Christmas Chronicles,” we’d love to hear your picks. Let’s celebrate this exciting countdown together!
Remember, Christmas isn’t just a day, it’s a feeling. So, why not start spreading that magical Christmas joy a bit early this year? After all, we’re only three months away! Merry early Christmas, everyone!

Happy September 25th, Christmas Movie Watchers!
Can you believe it? Weâre now officially 3 months away from Christmas Day!
This is the very last time weâll be celebrating the 25th before the Christmas movie season officially begins, and the excitement is definitely building!
Great American Family will kick things off on October 10th (just a little over two weeks away!), followed closely by Hallmark Channel on October 17th. From then on, both channels will fill our hearts with holiday cheer 24/7, mixing timeless Christmas classics with a sprinkling of new premieres all the way through December.
UPtv’s Christmas season begins on November 2nd, with old holiday classics and eight new Christmas movie premieres.
And Hallmark Mystery will also join in by playing classic Christmas movies 24/7 throughout the holiday season.
If youâd like to join in the fun and celebrate this special Countdown to Christmas with us today, Iâd love to hear which Christmas movie youâll be watching to mark the 25th in comments below.
Iâve chosen to watch “Picture a Perfect Christmas,” in honor of the recent passing of Actress Paula Shaw, who so beautifully portrayed the warm and loving grandmother. Her role was such a gift, and it feels like the perfect way to remember her.
This Christmas movie is extra charming, cozy, and delightful, and the title, Picture a Perfect Christmas, inspires me to imagine how I hope to picture and cherish this upcoming Christmas season.

If you can’t squeeze a Christmas movie into your schedule today on the 25th, there’s also an excellent line-up of Christmas movies airing on TV Friday night…
