While the full schedule for Great American Christmas on Great American Family is yet to be released (coming very soon!), I have learned the first Christmas movie premiere will be “A Wisconsin Christmas Pie,” starring Katie LeClerc and Ryan Carnes!

This deliciously sounding movie will premiere Saturday, October 11th, at 8pm/7c.

Storyline via Great American Family:

“In A Wisconsin Christmas Pie, pastry chef Emma Parker (Leclerc) returns from Chicago to her familyâs cherry orchard in Door County, Wisconsin for Christmas, she learns the farm is on the brink of being sold to developers. Persuaded to enter the townâs holiday pie bake-off, Emma reconnects with her high school sweetheart, Mitch (Carnes) and together they discover the recipe for saving the orchard â and their hearts â might just be love.”

According to the Green Bay Press Gazzette, “The movie was filmed entirely in Door County (Wisconsin) in early spring. Among the iconic Door County landmarks that show up in the trailer released in August are Hillside Waterfront Hotel in Ephraim, The White Gull Inn, Lautenbachâs Orchard Country Winery & Market and Eagle Tower at Peninsula State Park, all in Fish Creek.”

So… here’s a taste of what’s coming to Great American Family this Christmas!

Stay tuned for the full announcement!
