Music News: Cherâs Son Elijah Blue Allman Charged With Assault

Elijah Blue Allman has been charged after he allegedly caused a disturbance at an elite prep school in New Hampshire in the US.

The musician son of legendary singer Cher was taken into custody on Friday, according to the Concord Police Department (CPD).Â

Authorities responded to St Paulâs School in Concord at around 6 pm local time after receiving a report of an âunwanted guestâ, local outlet WMUR reported. It stated that a male was in the dining hall, causing a disturbance and acting belligerently. The male had no association with the school, officials confirmed.

Allman was detained by police and charged with two counts of simple assault, criminal trespassing, criminal threatening and disorderly conduct.Â

The Deadsy frontman was processed at the Merrimack County Jail and released on personal recognisance bail, an agreement in which he doesnât have to pay any bail and promises to appear at future court dates.

He was released from the facility a few days later.Â

Prior to that incident, Cher had filed for a temporary conservatorship over her sonâs estate, due to Allmanâs alleged substance abuse and declining mental health. The mother and son eventually reached a private agreement, and Cher voluntarily dismissed her petition for conservatorship in September 2024.
