Taking to social media on Thursday (4.02), Olivia Rodrigo announced the title of her highly anticipated third studio LP, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love.

Scheduled for release on June 12, and available now for pre-order, the superstar singer/songwriterâs Instagram post read âMy third album âyou seem pretty sad for a girl so in loveâ is out June 12th. I am so proud of this record and I canât wait for you to hear it (sic).â along with the album cover art of her posing in a pink dress while flying through the air on a swing.

Having teased new music over the past few months, the 23-year old hitmaker has again collaborated with producer Dan Nigro, with whom she worked on her 2021 debut album, Sour, and the 2023 follow-up, Guts.

And in an interview for the latest issue of British Vogue, the California native stated that her third offering will include some âsad love songs.â âI realized all my favorite romantic love songs were beautiful because they had a tinge of fear or yearning in them.â

Addressing how inspired she is by a recent visit to London, Rodrigo added âIâve spent so much time here over the course of making this album. It has a lot of songs that are London vibes, about experiences that Iâve had here.â
