Please Note: UPtv will have a new movie premiere with Trevor Donovan, whom I know many of you here like, but I want to caution that this movie is rated PG-13 for violence, bloody images, and suggestive material. UPtv may or may not edit out some of this content. Viewer discretion is strongly advised on this movie. Please see a review from our friend, Abigail, below.
Movie Review:
Where the Wind Blows – Warning: You all know how much I love Trevor Donovan, but I have to warn you about this movie (Where the Wind Blows). I saw it a couple months ago and I was shocked how much needed to be skipped. It was very sexual. I wonât mention the scene for the sake of sparring you, but I would advise you to pass on this one. This is not a Christian film despite what they say. I was saddened and disgusted. Sorry, that was difficult for me to write, especially about Trevor, but I felt the need to tell you the truth. Many will be tempted like I was just seeing his name. ~Abigail

Oh, I hope you all have such a lovely Easter weekend!
In addition to it being Easter, which is such a deeply meaningful time for all of us Christians, Good Friday is also my birthday, so I’ll be celebrating both Easter and my birthday with my precious family. And I know some of you dear friends, who visit here, have family & friends celebrating, too… so a very Happy Birthday to all of them, too!
Easter is such a beautiful reminder of Godâs incredible love… shown through His incredible sacrifice. When we turn to Him, we can find forgiveness, freedom, and the promise of eternal life. And if you feel it on your heart, I’ve included a prayer below if you’d like to invite Jesus into your life.
I pray you all have a
Blessed Easter
and Resurrection Sunday!
Net
SHINING HIS LIGHT:
Jesus said to her, âI am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die.â
~John 11:25-26
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.
~John 3:16-17
Prayer of Salvation:
For those of you who would like to know the full joy of receiving Jesus in your heart, I’ve included the prayer of salvation here for you…
(If you repeat these words and mean them in your heart, then you will be saved.)
“God, I know I am a sinner.
I believe Jesus was my substitute when He died on the Cross.
I believe His shed blood, death, burial, and resurrection were for me.
I now receive Jesus as my Savior.
Forgive me Lord of my sins.
I thank You for the the gift of salvation
and everlasting life, because of Your merciful grace.
In Jesus name, I pray…
Amen.”
If you said that prayer for the first time, God bless you, fellow Sister or Brother in The Lord! I want to encourage you to seek God’s word for direction in your life. He has ALL the answers you need. Jesus died and rose again for you, so live daily for Him!
