In the trailer for her upcoming Netflix documentary, Lainey Wilson: Keepinâ Country Cool, the country singer opened up about her plan to protect her fertility.

Reflecting on her desire to become a mother one day, Lainey notes, âsometimes the Lord just has other plans⦠Iâm gonna freeze my eggs in April, put them babies on ice.â

The footage, released on Wednesday, also depicts the star sitting in a hospital gown.

There is also a moment of her lying in a hospital bed with fiancé, Devlin âDuckâ Hodges.

âIt is a whirlwind. The performer, the artist, the songwriter, the girl whoâs going to shake everybodyâs hand,â the 33-year-old muses. âI think it is important to show people that I donât have my s**t all together. I am thankful for the life that I live. Itâs about celebrating what we are given. It is a gift. This is all a gift. People keep saying countryâs cool again. Well, I say it never stopped being cool. Lainey Wilson: Keepinâ Country Cool is set to drop on 22 April.

In a synopsis, Netflix officials promise the documentary will show a different side of the singer to fans.

Lainey released her fifth studio album, Whirlwind, in 2024, and was on tour for much of the past year. She also made her movie debut in the romance drama, Reminders of Him, last month.
