Aaron Hernandez’s Fiancée Upset Over Jokes in Tom Brady’s Netflix Special

Aaron Hernandezâs fiancée was no fan of some of the jokes that the former New England Patriots tight end was the subject of during Tom Bradyâs Netflix special on Sunday night.

Shayanna Jenkins told TMZ Sports she was upset with the comedic slights. Brady, Nikki Glaser and others were among those mocking the late tight end.

She expressed her disappointment, saying, “Itâs sad that Iâm trying to raise my children in such a cruel world,” and mentioned that Hernandez was someone their daughter viewed positively.

Hernandez was found guilty in 2015 of the killing of Odin L. Lloyd. In 2017, he was acquitted of a double-murder six years prior, but he died by suicide in prison later that year.

During the Netflix special, jokes about Hernandez were made despite Jenkins’ wishes for him to be off limits.

Controversial Jokes in the Special

Tom Brady made a remark about the low expectations for a Patriots tight end at the time, saying, “block, catch, donât murder.”

Comedian Tony Hinchcliffe suggested that Kevin Hart was standing on the stool Hernandez used to commit suicide.

Comedian Nikki Glaser joked about former Patriots player Randy Moss not having a Super Bowl ring, comparing him to Hernandez.

Hernandez played three seasons with the Patriots before his arrest.
