Ruby Rose has alleged that pop star Katy Perry sexually assaulted her at a nightclub 20 years ago.

The Orange is the New Black star shared on Threads that the alleged incident took place at a club in Melbourne âalmost two decades agoâ.

Rose made the allegation in a comment responding to a post about Perryâs reaction to Canadian singer Justin Bieberâs headlining Coachella set on Saturday night.

Perry attended the Coachella music festival in California with her partner, former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

âKaty Perry sexually assaulted me at Spice Market nightclub in Melbourne. Who gives a s**t what she thinks,â Rose wrote.

âThe allegations being circulated on social media by Ruby Rose about Katy Perry are not only categorically false; they are dangerous, reckless lies,â the rep told CBC News in a statement.

âMs Rose has a well-documented history of making serious public allegations on social media against various individuals, claims that have repeatedly been denied by those named.â

In a series of posts, the Australian actor claimed the alleged incident occurred when she was in her early 20s. She wrote that Perry âbent down, pulled her underwear to the side and rubbed her disgusting vagina on my faceâ.

Rose added in another comment that she has previously âtold the story publicly but changed it to be a âfunny little drunk storyâ because I didnât know how else to handle itâ.Â

She revealed that Perry had later agreed to help Rose get her US visa, so she chose to keep it a secret.Â

She wrote that it had taken her nearly two decades to share the allegation, and that she was âgrateful to have made it long enough to find my voiceâ.
