On Monday (4.20,), the Canadian musician invited fans to search for a blue folder hidden within a huge installation of ice cubes in downtown Toronto, subsequent to which one keen follower named Kishka was the first to discover the file, revealing Iceman.

On Tuesday (4.21,) the superstar musician (born Aubrey Graham) confirmed the news via Instagram by posting an image of the words âICEMANâ and âMAY 15â in red and blue text along with an ice cube emoji.

What will be the 39-year-oldâs ninth studio LP, the collection follows his 2025 offering, Some Sexy Songs 4 U, a collaborative album with PartyNextDoor, that included tracks âNokiaâ and âSomebody Loves Me.â

Drake had previously referenced the title Iceman on social media by sharing an image of the now deceased Val Kilmer, the actor, who famously portrayed Tom âIcemanâ Kazansky in the 1986 film Top Gun.

Though his record labelâs attorneys ultimately prevailed with their motion to dismiss the case last October, the singer/songwriter filed an appeal the following month. And, in the most recent filing, Drakeâs legal team called for the court to send the case back and for the defamation claims to be decided at trial.
